ombreing my hair? yes please!

As the Christmas holidays get nearer, i decided i wanted something different to do with my hair. Ive wanted it ombred for AGES but my mum had said she was worried about what it would do to my hair and what would happen if i didn't like it. I am a bit concerned as to what my school will think of it, but i am led to believe its ok as long as the colour is natural, so no red, purple, pink etc. finally after begging for absolutely ages she said yes! i am planning to dye it at the start of the holidays, if not defiantly in the summer holidays, if you have ombred hair, id love to know what you think of it, ive heard it drys your hair out alot and encourages split ends?

here is a picture of how im going to get it done.
i think the image of the girl in the red glasses is most likely how it will end up because i want it to be more subtle if i want to get away with it at school.

  1. I didn't find it dried out my hair at all, I only had half a head of it so maybe that's why, but I think because you aren't bleaching all of your hair it won't dry out.

Ensure you get a colour shampoo so it stays more vibrant for longer too.

Maybe if you're worried you don't like it ask for half a head and then if you think it looks good get the rest done.

Oh and just a tip: make sure you ask for balayage in the hairdressers because both places I went to had no clue what ombre was.

Sorry for the essay, hope this helps :)
