Fearne travelling beauty. | the review.

After a couple of very none beauty related posts to start the year with, i thought id start reintroducing my reviews. Over the Christmas season my closest friends and i got together for a film night. As it was a Christmas themed night we thought it was only appropriate to organize a secret Santa. to which came this little gem which i was very grateful for. After falling so in love with it, i decided to go and hunt for other products in the range and found them in boots. I have since purchased some different sets for friends who have birthdays coming up. For such an inexpensive purchase the quality is absolutely brilliant and it is defiantly something i would take travelling with me. 

The packaging is mega girly and fun, which i really liked and it also feels quite sturdy, there's no way it would break if it somehow ended up in the bottom of your bag or suitcase etc. When opened, the inside of the lid has a mirror in it which slides out and rests on the front of the box, so you don't have to hold it up and do your makeup one handed. However, the lid of the box is magnetic, which i am aware doesn't float some peoples boats.

Included in the box is a lipstick, 6 neutral eyeshadows, a small brush, an eyeshadow applicator, a mascara, a blush and a bronzer. The lipstick on its own is amazing, the colour is absolutely beautiful and my perfect idea of a pinky nude everyday lipstick, it is crazy creamy and it somewhat melts as it touches your lips, leaving a hydrated and nourished appearance to the lips, absolutely no need to use a lip balm before this!

The eyeshadows were defiantly of very high quality, the colour range is great for just about every skin tone imaginable and all the colours are super pigmented and easy to blend with. Perhaps not the best if you dislike shimmery shadows, i personally love them so im all good! included is 1 matte eyeshadow and 5 pearly shimmery ones, all with beautiful creamy consistency! They kinda remind me of flour when its on your fingers, really powdery but soft at the same time. Rubbish description i know but its the best i can do!

The blush and bronzer defiantly won't be to everyone's taste. I found the bronzer was absolutely perfect for my skin tone, bearing in mind I am very fair skinned. The blush however I felt was much to light, I felt it would look very wrong against my own pale complexion and it looked ridiculously light, which was a big downer as it was so pretty and pigmented. The mascara really lengthens the eyelashes, but for myself personally I felt that the coating was much to light for me, much more ideal if you were going for a more natural look for school etc, for me the coats it gave were much to light.
